Celebrating Canada's Birthday in Washington, D.C.
The tradition of the Calgary Exhibition and the Stampede pancake breakfast travelled to D.C. for Smithsonian participants on July 1, 2006.
Volunteers from the Calgary Exhibition provided entertainment and served breakfast to participants at the Canadian Embassy.
Ambassador Michael Wilson, Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier and Alberta International and Intergovernmental Relations Minister Gary Mar greeted the crowd.
